PETALING JAYA: Asset management and infrastructure solutions company UEM Edgenta Bhd reported a revenue of RM1.4bil and net loss of RM34.6mil for the first nine months of FY2020 compared with RM1.7bil in revenue and a net profit of RM85.4mil for the same period a year ago, due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

In a statement, the company said its performance was largely attributed to a challenging operating environment.

“In addition, the company had also undertaken a prudent one-off RM50mil impairment in the first half of FY2020 as part of its efforts to restructure and rationalise non-core businesses, “ it said in a statement.
