OKA closes Senai plant due to infections

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, OKA Corp said the two workers were out of its total workforce of 200 in the Senai factory.

KUALA LUMPUR: OKA Corp Bhd has closed its Senai factory temporarily until Dec 21 after two of its workers were found to be infected with Covid-19.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, it said the two workers were out of its total workforce of 200 in the Senai factory.

“The capacity loss is estimated to be less than 0.7% of the group’s total annual output. The Senai factory is one of the five factories within the group, ” it said.
