MTD ACPI clinches RM33.44m contract in Pahang

KUALA LUMPUR (Jan 12): MTD ACPI Engineering Bhd has won a RM33.44 million construction contract from the Public Works Department in Pahang.

The group said its wholly-owned subsidiary MTD Construction Sdn Bhd will undertake the Police Training Centre project in Bentong.

The contract is due to be completed on July 11, 2022, MTD ACPI said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia.

"The contract is not expected to contribute any significant financial impact towards the revenue and earnings of MTD ACPI Group during the current financial year as most of the major works will start in the following financial year," the group said.

Shares in MTD ACPI finished unchanged at 26 sen, valuing the group at RM60.23 million. The counter saw 88,000 shares traded.
