Sufian Abdullah is new CEO of UEM Sunrise

Sufian Abdullah, 46, brings with him over 20 years of experience in the property development and real estate industry. He was appointed as CEO of UEM Sunrise and it takes effect on Feb 2.

KUALA LUMPUR: UEM Sunrise Bhd on Monday announced the appointment of Sufian Abdullah as its new chief executive officer (CEO) with effect from Feb 2.

He is currently the CEO of KWEST Sdn Bhd, the property arm of Kumpulan Wang Persaraan (Diperbadankan) or KWAP.

UEM Sunrise chairman Datuk Noorazman Abd Aziz said Sufian’s appointment comes at an exciting time for the company “as it embarks on a bold vision and an ambitious agenda even as the country faces uncertain economic conditions and with the property sector still responding to some unique challenges”.
