KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 26): Tan Sri Azlan Mohd Zainol is resigning as RHB Bank Bhd’s non-independent non-executive chairman effective Feb 28.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, the bank said Azlan, who joined the board of RHB Bank in 2005, will also be resigning from his post as chairman of RHB Investment Bank Bhd.

In a separate filing, Malaysia Building Society Bhd (MBSB) announced that Azlan has been appointed as chairman and non-independent non-executive director of MBSB and MBSB Bank Bhd with effect from March 1, 2021.
