The Board of Directors of AMEDIA ("Board") had on 18 July 2017 announced the changes to the Ex-Date and the Entitlement Date of the Rights Issue of Shares with Warrants.
The Board had decided on the above changes to allow more time for the Company to make further updates to its abridged prospectus in relation to the Rights Issue of Shares with Warrants.
The abridged prospectus, together with the rights subscription form and the notice of provisional allotment (collectively referred to as the "Documents") relating to the Rights Issue of Shares with Warrants will only be despatched to the shareholders of AMEDIA (other than an authorised nominee who has subscribed for Nominee Rights Subscription Service ("NRS")) who have registered addresses in Malaysia and whose names appear in AMEDIAs Record of Depositors at 5.00 p.m. on the Entitlement Date ("Entitled Shareholders"). If you are an authorised nominee who has subscribed for NRS with Bursa Malaysia Depository Sdn Bhd ("Bursa Depository"), an electronic copy of the abridged prospectus and the Rights Issue Entitlement File will be transmitted to you electronically by Bursa Depository through its existing network facility with the Authorised Nominee (a person who is authorised to act as a nominee as defined under the Rules of Bursa Depository). The Documents will not be despatched to Entitled Shareholders with registered addresses outside Malaysia. Any Entitled Shareholder who wishes to receive the Documents is required to provide AMEDIAs share registrar, Tricor Investor & Issuing House Services Sdn Bhd, with a registered address in Malaysia, in writing, by 5.00 p.m. on the Entitlement Date.
The Documents are not intended for issuance, circulation or distribution in countries or jurisdictions other than Malaysia. No action has or will be taken to ensure that the Rights Issue of Shares with Warrants and the Documents comply with the laws of any country or jurisdiction other than Malaysia.
The Documents will be despatched to the Entitled Shareholders no later than 2 market days after the Entitlement Date.
