With the issuance of 43,800,000 new shares on 19 May 2011 pursuant to the private placement, the final dividend per share, calculated based on 607,321,500 shares after deducting the treasury shares, has been adjusted to 20.4 sen per share instead of 22.0 sen per share as announced on 18 February 2011 which was calculated based on the then issued shares of 563,523,500 after deducting the treasury shares. The above final dividend for the financial year ended 31 December 2010 is subject to the shareholders' approval to be obtained at the forthcoming Annual General Meeting to be held on 7 June 2011. cc: Securities Commission |
