| Shareholders of SIB should take note that every 1 ordinary share of RM1.00 each held in SIB ("SIB Share") as at 5.00 p.m. on Tuesday, 17 April 2007 shall be subdivided into 2 new ordinary shares of RM0.50 each ("Subdivided SIB Shares") ("Share Split"). Shareholders of the Subdivided SIB Shares are then entitled to the bonus issue on the basis of 1 new Subdivided SIB Share for every 2 Subdivided SIB Shares held after the Share Split ("Bonus Issue"). The implementation of the Bonus Issue is carried out concurrently with the Share Split. For illustrative purposes, a shareholder holding 100 SIB Shares on the Entitlement Date shall have his/her 100 SIB Shares subdivided into 200 Subdivided SIB Shares. Thereafter, the 200 Subdivided SIB Shares shall be entitled to 100 new Subdivided SIB Shares pursuant to the Bonus Issue. The Bonus Issue shall involve the issuance of up to a maximum of 70,000,000 new Subdivided SIB Shares to be credited as fully paid-up. The date of listing of the new Subdivided SIB Shares to be issued shall be 18 April 2007. This announcement is dated 30 March 2007. |
