| The directors recommend the payment of a final gross dividend of 10.0 sen per share and a special gross dividend of 10.0 sen per share on 400,000,000 ordinary shares, less income tax of 27%, amounting to RM29,200,000 and RM29,200,000 respectively which, subject to the approval of members at the forthcoming Annual General Meeting of the Company, will be paid on 30 May 2007 to shareholders registered on the Company’s Register of Members at the close of business on 11 May 2007. The financial statements for the current financial year do not reflect this proposed dividend. Such dividend, if approved by the shareholders, will be accounted for in equity as appropriation of retained profits in the financial year ending 31 December 2007. The total dividend declared for the financial year ending 31 December 2006 is 50.0 sen per share (2005: 35.0 sen per share). |
