| The High Court has on 6 September 2007 granted an order confirming the reduction of Suria's share capital and share premium account under Sections 60(2) and 64(1) of the Companies Act, 1965 to be implemented based on the terms of the special resolution passed by the shareholders of Suria at an extraordinary general meeting held on 15 May 2007 for the Par Value Reduction and Share Premium Reduction. Shareholders whose names appear in the Record of Depositors at 5.00 p.m. on 10 October 2007 ("Entitlement Date") will be entitled to the Capital Restructuring. A copy of the order for the Par Value Reduction and Share Premium Reduction will be lodged with the Companies Commission of Malaysia on 10 October 2007, being the Entitlement Date for the Capital Restructuring. The Consolidated Shares shall be listed and quoted on the Main Board of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad on 11 October 2007, being the next market day following the Entitlement Date. The Share Registrar of Suria will issue and dispatch notices of allotment to all entitled shareholders by 17 October 2007. (This announcement is dated 26 September 2007) |
