| The above Share Split has been approved by the shareholders of WEC at its Extraordinary General Meeting on 20 April 2005. The trading in the shares of WEC will be suspended with effect from 9.00 a.m. on 26 May 2005 (being three (3) clear market days immediately before the books closing date on 1 June 2005) until the quotation of the shares to be issued pursuant to the Share Split. Hence, the last date and time of trading of the shares will be 5.00 p.m. on 25 May 2005. The suspension of trading is to facilitate the recall and subdivision of shares. |
