| Shareholders of U-LI should take note that every one (1) U-LI Share as at 5.00 p.m. on Thursday, 25 November 2004 ("Entitlement Date") shall be subdivided into two (2) new ordinary shares of RM0.50 each. In accordance with the Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad ("Bursa Securities"), the trading of the U-LI Shares on the Second Board of Bursa Securities will be suspended with effect from 9.00 a.m. on Friday, 19 November 2004, being three (3) clear market days prior to the Entitlement Date to facilitate the Bonus Issue (as announced by U-LI on 1 November 2004) and the Share Split. Hence the last time and date for trading of the U-LI Shares on the Second Board of Bursa Securities prior to the Share Split shall be Thursday, 18 September 2004. This announcement is dated 1 November 2004. |
