Arising from the migration to the no par value regime under the Companies Act 2016, par value is no longer relevant. The Share Consolidation entails the consolidation of every 2 existing ordinary shares in the share capital of Scomi into 1 Consolidated Share as at 5.00 p.m. on 18 January 2018, being the entitlement date for the Share Consolidation. Fractional entitlements arising from the Share Consolidation, if any, shall be disregarded and dealt with by the Board of Directors of Scomi in such manner at its absolute discretion as it may deem fit or expedient and in the best interests of Scomi. The Consolidated Shares will be listed and quoted on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad on 19 January 2018, being the next market day after the entitlement date for the Share Consolidation. The notices of allotment of the Consolidated Shares will be issued and despatched to the entitled shareholders for the Share Consolidation within 4 market days after the listing of and quotation for the Consolidated Shares on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad. This announcement is dated 4 January 2018. |
