| The Company's Tax Advisor has advised that the income tax rate to be deducted from the above-mentioned dividend payment be revised from 28% to 27% in accordance to the provisions of Section 108(1) of Income Tax Act 1967. Since the date of payment of the above-mentioned dividend is 18 January 2007 which falls within the basis period for Year of Assessment 2007 i.e. the financial year from 1 July 2006 to 30 June 2007 and with the income tax applicable to the Company for the Year of Assessment 2007 being 27%, the rate of income tax to be stated on the dividend vouchers would also be 27%. |
