| It is believed that the revised corporate income tax rate of 27% which shall be applicable for year of assessment 2007 as announced in the Malaysian Budget 2007 ("Announcement") will be gazetted soon. As the 5% Gross Second Interim Dividend ("the said Dividend") is payable on January 17, 2007, the Malaysian tax rate for the said Dividend is expected to be amended from 28% to 27% in accordance with the Announcement. |
