| Perisai Petroleum Teknologi Bhd completed the acquisition of its subsidiaries and associated company on 31 May 2004 prior to its listing. Consequently, the cumulative results shown above are based on operations of the Group for the seven months period from 1 June 2004 to 31 December 2004. Comparative figures for the preceding year are not available as the Group only came into existence on 31 May 2004. Should the condensed consolidated income statement be prepared based on proforma basis, assuming a full year operations from 1 January 2004 to 31 December 2004, the Group would have generated a total revenue of RM26,276,000 and net profit of RM6,497,000. This represents an increase in net profit by 66% from the proforma consolidated net profit of RM3,913,000 (before exceptional items) for the financial year ended 31 December 2003 as disclosed in the Prospectus dated 16 June 2004. The condensed unaudited consolidated income statement should be read in conjunction with the audited financial statements for the period ended 31 December 2003 and the accompanying explanatory notes attached to the interim financial statements. |
