| * The reported quarter period is from 27/12/2003 to 31/12/2003. 27/12/2003 being the complection date of acquisition. - There is no preceding comparative quarter as this is the Company's first reporting quarter. - The above consolidated income statements has been prepared without the inclusion of the results of the Tongkah Holding Berhad ("THB") Group as the control of THB Group is temporary. This is in compliance with paragraph 15(a) of the Malaysia Accounting Standards - Standard No. 11 - Consolidated Financial Statements and Investment in Subsidiaries, which states that a subsidiary should be excluded from consolidation when control is intended to be temporary. - Earning per share is calculated based on the net profit after taxation and before the one off corporate cost for transfer of listing status from THB to the Company. |
