| Note for No. 5 The basic earnings per share are calculated based on weighted average number of ordinary shares of RM0.10 each in issue of 1,967,564,140 for the current financial year (1,964,057,780 shares in previous corresponding year after adjusted for the effect of the bonus issue of 2 for 5). Note for No. 6 i) An Interim Dividend of 13% less 25% tax (previous corresponding period: 12% less 25% tax) per ordinary share of RM0.10 each in respect of the financial year ended 30th June 2010 has been paid on 15th June 2010. ii) The Board of Directors recommends a Final Single Tier Dividend of 18.0% (preceding year: 24% less 25% tax) per ordinary share of RM0.10 each in respect of the financial year ended 30th June 2010 for approval of the shareholders at the forthcoming Annual General Meeting. The total net dividend declared for the financial year ended 30th June 2010 is 27.75% per ordinary share of RM0.10 each, resulting in a dividend payout ratio of 47% which is in line with the Company's dividend policy of dividend payout ratio of 40% - 60% of annual profits attributable to shareholders. Note for Note. 7 The net assets per share for preceeding year has been adjusted for bonus issue of 2 for 5 which was completed on 17 February 2010. |
