| This amended announcement supercedes the announcement made on 25 February 2004. Please refer to the attachment for the amended Quarterly Report. The amendments are as follows: 1. Earnings/(loss) per share figure in the Consolidated Income Statement for the period ended 31 December 2003 (page 2) 2. A Condensed Consolidated Cash Flow Statement for the period ended 31 December 2002 has been included (page 7) 3. Note 27 on Earnings Per Share has been amended (page 12) 4. Note 29 on Comparative Figures has been amended (page 13) Please also take note of the following: 1. No comparative figures are presented for "Preceding Year Corresponding Quarter - Individual Quarter" and "Preceding Year Corresponding Period - Cumulative Quarter" in the Summary of Key Financial Information below. 2. No comparative figures are presented for "Current Quarter" and "Cumulative Quarter" in the Condensed Consolidated Income Statement in the attached Quarterly Report. 3. No comparative figures are presented for the Condensed Consolidated Statement of Changes in Equity in the attached Quarterly Report. 4. No comparative figures are presented in the abovementioned Statements as there is no comparable period due to the change in financial year end of the Company from 30 June to 31 December with effect from 31 December 2002. However, for the purpose of information, a Condensed Consolidated Income Statement, a Condensed Consolidated Statement of Changes in Equity and a Condensed Consolidated Cash Flow Statement for the period from 1 July 2002 to 31 December 2002 are presented. |
