| This is an amended announcement to the one made on 20/08/2003 under ref: CC-030815-32115 The amendments made were as follows:- 1. Unaudited Condensed Consolidated Balance Sheet - the column "as at preceding financial year end 30/06/2002" has been replaced with the results "as at preceding financial year end 31/03/2003". - As at the end of Current Quarter ended 30/06/2003:- (i) Investment in quoted shares of RM2,000,000 has been shifted under the header of Current assets and read as "Marketable securities". (ii) The cash amount of RM32,618,000 has been revised to "Cash and Bank Balances amounting to RM32,619,000". (iii) Net current assets or current liabilities of RM39,319,000 has been revised to RM41,320,000. - The remarks to the balance sheets has been deleted and replaced with "The Unaudited Condensed Consolidated Balance Sheet should be read in conjunction with the annual financial statements for the year ended 31 March 2003". 2. Unaudited Condensed Consolidated Statements of Changes in Equity - Total as at 1 April 2003, as previously reported, should read as RM57,238,000 instead of RM9,238,000; - Total as at 30 June 2003 should read as RM58,877,000 instead of RM58,876,000; - The following paragraph has been inserted: "The Unaudited Condensed Consolidated Statements of Changes in Equity should be read in conjunction with the annual financial statements for the year ended 31 March 2003". 3. Unaudited Condensed Consolidated Income Statements The following line has been inserted: "The Unaudited Condensed Consolidated Income Statements should be read in conjunction with the annual financial statements for the year ended 31 March 2003". 4. Unaudited Condensed Consolidated Cash Flow Statements The statement for 3 months ended 30.06.03 has been replaced as attached. 5. Notes A11 [Effect of Changes in the composition of the Group] - The word "year-to-date" has been replaced with "period-to-date". B2 [Comparison with preceding quarter's results] - The paragraph has been replaced with the following:- "Compared with preceding quarter, the revenue increased by 10% from RM13.2 million to RM14.5 million. The profit before tax decreased by 17% from RM3.0 million to RM2.5 million due to lower margin products mixed during this quarter". |
