Reference is made to PBA Holdings Bhd.’s (“PBAHB” or the “Company”) announcement dated 2 July 2025 in relation to the establishment of an Islamic Medium Term Notes (“Sukuk Wakalah”) Programme of up to RM5.0 billion in nominal value based on the Shariah principle of Wakalah Bi Al-Istithmar (“Sukuk Wakalah Programme”), by Perbadanan Bekalan Air Pulau Pinang Sdn. Bhd. (“PBAPP” or the “Issuer”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company.

The Company is pleased to announce that PBAPP has, on 4 September 2025, successfully issued its inaugural Sustainability Sukuk Wakalah in aggregate of RM300.0 million in nominal value (“Sustainability Sukuk Wakalah Issuance”) under its Sukuk Wakalah Programme.
