Reference is made to the Company's announcement dated 21 February 2024 ("Prior Announcement") relating to the acceptance of a Conditional Letter of Award ("CLOA") from Malaysia Rail Link Sdn Bhd ("MRL") for the provision of electricity and renewable energy to the East Coast Rail Link ("ECRL") network. The CLOA was accepted by a subsidiary of the Company.

The CLOA, accepted on 21 February 2024, contemplated a 30-year concession for the exclusive provision of electricity and renewable energy to the ECRL, including the construction of interconnection facilities at a project cost of up to RM600,000,000. Earlier discussions between the parties, including the arrangements contemplated under the CLOA, had envisaged a different structure for the ECRL electricity supply framework. The parties subsequently agreed to proceed under a new framework, and the arrangements contemplated under the CLOA have since been discontinued.

The Board of Directors of the Company ("Board") wishes to announce that Citaglobal New Energy Sdn Bhd ("CGNE"), a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company, has on 17 March 2026 executed a Framework Agreement ("FA") with MRL for energy advisory services and green energy development relating to the ECRL ("Engagement").

The FA is in line with the regulatory decisions of Suruhanjaya Tenaga, pursuant to which Citaglobal has worked with MRL to restructure the commercial arrangement to reflect the new agreement.

The FA reaffirms MRL's recognition of Citaglobal as a credible energy advisor and renewable energy partner for this national infrastructure project. In addition, the arrangement enables CGNE to secure long-term green energy development through Citaglobal Renewable Energy Sdn Bhd ("CGRE").

The Engagement is expected to contribute positively to the Group's revenue and earnings for the financial period ending 30 June 2026.
