We refer to the announcement dated 4 September 2013 and 15 March 2016 in respect of the Purchase and Supply Agreement dated 3 September 2013 and Supplementary Agreement to Purchase and Supply Agreement, dated 15 March 2016 entered into between Yew Lean Foundry & Co. Sdn. Bhd. (hereinafter referred as “Yew Lean Foundry”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of YLI, as the Seller of the one Part and Kubota Corporation (hereinafter referred to as “Kubota”), as the Buyer of the other Part.

The Directors of YLI Holdings Berhad (“YLI” or “the Company”) wishes to announce that Yew Lean Foundry has on 1 April 2019 entered into a Supplementary Agreement with Kubota to extend the duration of the Supplementary Agreement to Purchase and Supply Agreement entered into on 15 March 2016 for another three years to 31 March 2022.

The extension of the above contract will not have any material effect on the earnings per share, net assets and gearing of YLI Group for the financial year ending March 2019. It will also not have any effect on the issued and paid-up share capital and substantial shareholders’ shareholdings of YLI Group. However, it is expected to contribute positively towards the future earnings of the Group.
