The Board of Directors of the Company wishes to inform that UEM Edgenta intends to seek its shareholders’ approval on the proposed alteration or amendments to the existing Constitution of the Company (“Proposed Amendment”) at the forthcoming 56th Annual General Meeting of the Company.
The Proposed Amendment is made mainly to update the Constitution of UEM Edgenta to ensure compliance with the amended Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad, to provide clarity and consistency with the amendments that arise from the Companies Act 2016 and other relevant regulatory provisions.
The details of the Proposed Amendment will be circulated together with the Annual Report 2018 in due course.
