Ideal United Bintang International Berhad ("IDEAL" or “the Company") wishes to announce that it proposes to alter or amend the whole existing Memorandum and Articles of Association (“Constitution”) of the Company by replacement thereof with a new Constitution, subject to the approval by the shareholders at an Extraordinary General Meeting ("EGM”) to be fixed at a later date.

The Proposed Adoption is made mainly to update the Constitution so as to ensure compliance with amended Bursa Securities Main Market Listing Requirements, to provide clarity and consistency with the amendments that arise from the Companies Act 2016, and other relevant regulatory provisions.

The details of the Proposed Adoption will be set out in the Circular to Shareholders and dispatched to the shareholders in due course.
