Reference is made to the previous announcements made on 24 December 2014, 10 July 2017, 17 April 2018 and 5 July 2018.

The Board of Directors wishes to announce that Crestronics (M) Sdn. Bhd. (“CMSB”), a wholly owned subsidiary of BSL Corporation Bhd had on today received an update from its solicitor on the application for Judicial Review to the Shah Alam High Court against the Minister of Finance and the Director-General of Customs, Royal Malaysian Customs Department  (collectively referred to as “respondent”) on the decision to reject CMSB’s appeal of remission of Import Duty and Sales Tax amounting to a total of RM11,131,511.26.

At a case management held today, the Court instructed the following:

1. CMSB to file an Affidavit in Reply on/before 21.2.2019;
2. Both CMSB and the respondent to attend a Case Management on 15.3.2019 before the Court Registrar to file and serve the Written Submissions and hardcopies of all the Cause Papers to the Court; and
3. Both CMSB and the respondent are to attend a hearing on 29.3.2019. 

The Company will make further announcement if there is any material update on the above said matter.
