Unless otherwise stated, the terms used in this announcement shall carry the same meaning as defined in the Company’s announcements dated 3 February 2017, 29 August 2017, 8 November 2017, 19 December 2017 and 16 March 2018.
The Board of Directors of the Company wishes to announce that Edgenta PROPEL has filed an intervener application in the Kuala Lumpur High Court on 13 December 2018 to be made as an intervener in the assessment of damages proceeding between HBT against the Government of Malaysia (“Jabatan Kerja Raya/JKR”) to secure Edgenta PROPEL’s rights over the amount to be received by HBT from JKR therein (“Intervener Proceeding”).
The amount due and owing from HBT to Edgenta PROPEL stands at RM24,339,100.39 being the amount claimed pursuant to the Notice under S.465 of the Companies Act 2016 dated 4 July 2018.
Further announcements will be made as and when there are material developments on the matter.
