We refer to the announcements dated 29 January 2018, 13 February 2018, 5 March 2018, 9 March 2018, 13 March 2018, 12 April 2018, 6 September 2018, 9 October 2018, 11 October 2018, 13 November 2018, 21 November 2018, 22 November 2018 and 23 November 2018 in relation to the SCR.

On behalf of the Board, RHB Investment Bank Berhad wishes to announce that pursuant to Section 116(6) of the Act, the resolution for the SCR has taken effect on 7 December 2018 following the lodgement of the office copy of the High Court Order dated 13 November 2018 with the Registrar of Companies in Malaysia on 7 December 2018 (“Lodgement”).

Upon Lodgement, Weida Shares comprising (i) 321,682,692 bonus shares issued to the Entitled Shareholders, (ii) 84,653,340 Weida Shares held by the Entitled Shareholders and (iii) 6,439,100 Treasury Shares, are cancelled and the remaining shares thereafter are 42,240,892 Weida Shares held by the Non-Entitled Shareholders.

The settlement of the SCR Offer Price will be effected within 10 days from 7 December 2018.
