The Board of Directors of Weida (M) Bhd. ("the Company") wishes to announce that the Board of Directors has on 22 June 2018 proposed to seek shareholders' approval on the Proposed Renewal at the forthcoming AGM to be held at a later date. In accordance with the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad, the existing authority for purchase of own shares shall lapse at the conclusion of the forthcoming AGM, unless renewal is obtained. A Statement to Shareholders in relation to the Proposed Renewal of Share Buy-Back Authority is currently being prepared for despatch to shareholders at a later date.
