Further to our previous announcement dated 24th October 2019 in relation to the judgement released by Shanghai Pudong New Area People's Court, the Board of Directors of Kwantas wishes to announce that the Defendant filed an application of appeal to Shanghai No.1 Intermediate Court, China No. (2019)-01-15862 in respect of the following grounds:- (i) To revoke the entire judgement made by earlier decision court, namely Shanghai Pudong New Area People's Court in respect of the above litigation; (ii) To rebut the Plaintiff's Statement of Claim in whole or to be re-heard; and (iii) All costs or expenses in respect of the hearing process shall be borne by the Plaintiff. The appeal will be heard on 7th January 2020. This announcement is dated 18th December 2019. |
