| Working experience and occupation | YM Tunku Afwida served as an Auditor and Chartered Accountant at Touche Ross & Co from 1988 to 1991. She then served as a Unit Trust Fund Accountant at Henderson Administration and a Compliance Manager at INVESCO in 1992, a Fund Manager and Analyst at Rashid Hussain Berhad, Asset Management arm in 1993 and Equities Analyst and Manager at UOB Asset Management Ltd in 1994. She has held senior roles in investment banks. From 2006 until 2008, she was Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Executive Director (ED) of Kenanga Investment Bank Berhad. Prior to that, from 2003 to 2006, she was CEO and ED of MIMB Investment Bank Berhad (now known as Hong Leong Investment Bank Berhad) and from 1995 to 2003, she was ED/Chief Investment Officer of Commerce Asset Fund Managers Sdn Bhd. She is currently a Director and shareholder of Asia Equity Research Sdn Bhd, a company licensed by the Securities Commission of Malaysia to provide advisory services in corporate finance including compliance and funding advisory related services. |
