Further to the Company’s earlier announcement dated 27 December 2019 in relation to the issuance of Shipping Licence and Distribution Licence to the wholly-owned subsidiaries of Gas Malaysia Berhad, namely Gas Malaysia Energy and Services Sdn Bhd and Gas Malaysia Distribution Sdn Bhd, respectively, the Company wishes to clarify that the said issuance of licences will have no material effect on the earnings and financial position of Gas Malaysia Group for the financial year ending 31 December 2020.

None of the Directors or Major Shareholders of Gas Malaysia and/or persons connected with them, has any interest, direct or indirect, in the issuance of these licences.
