The Board of Directors’ of Ipmuda wishes to announce that the following subsidiary (“the Subsidiary”) has commenced members’ voluntary winding up on 24 January 2020 pursuant to Section 439(1)(b) of the Companies Act 2016:

Mr. Poo Lap Tuck, Chartered Accountant of Lot 4.81, 4th Floor, Wisma Central, Jalan Ampang, 50450 Kuala Lumpur has been appointed as Liquidator for the Subsidiary on 24 January 2020.

The Subsidiary has ceased its business operations and is currently dormant and has no intention to carry on business or operations in the future.

The voluntary winding up of the Subsidiary is part of Ipmuda Group’s continuing rationalisation effort to improve efficiency within the Ipmuda Group. In addition, the voluntary winding up will enable the Ipmuda Group to save future costs associated with maintaining the Subsidiary.

 The voluntary winding up of the Subsidiary is not expected to have any material impact on the earnings and net assets of the Ipmuda Group for the financial year ending 30 June 2020.

 None of the directors or major shareholders of Ipmuda or persons connected with them has any interest, direct or indirect, in the said voluntary winding up.
