At the last 49th Annual General Meeting (“AGM”) held on 10 April 2019, Carlsberg Brewery Malaysia Berhad (“CBMB” or the “Company”) had obtained its shareholders’ approval to enter into recurrent transactions of a revenue or trading nature entered into by CBMB with its related parties (“Shareholders’ Mandate”).

The authority for the Shareholders’ Mandate will expire at the conclusion of the forthcoming 50th AGM of the Company to be convened.

Accordingly, the Board of Directors of CBMB intends to seek shareholders’ approval for the proposal relating to the Shareholders’ Mandate for Recurrent Related Party Transactions of a Revenue or Trading Nature at the Company’s forthcoming 50th AGM.

The Circular to Shareholders containing information on the said proposal will be dispatched to the shareholders in due course.
