This announcement should be read in conjunction with the earlier announcement of Perak Corporation Berhad (“Company”) in relation to the default in payment pursuant to paragraph 9.19A of the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad – Cross Default in payment to CIMB Bank Berhad released to Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad on 28 February 2020 (“Earlier Announcement”).

The terms used herein, unless the context otherwise states, shall bear the same meaning as those defined in the Earlier Announcement.

Further to the Company’s announcement dated 28 February 2020, on behalf of the Board of Directors of the Company, we wish to clarify the abbreviation PCBT stated in the Earlier Announcement.

PCBT stands for PCB Taipan Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company.
