Further to the announcement made on 6 February 2018 and 29 March 2018, PJBumi Composites Sdn. Bhd. ("PJBC"), a wholly owned subsidiary of PJBumi Berhad ("PJBumi" or "the Company") was served with a winding-up petition by Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri ("LHDN") for and on behalf of Government of Malaysia ("Petitioner" or "GOM").
The Company wishes to announce that PJBC had received a letter on 5 March 2020 from the Liquidator, Augustine A/L T.K. James ("AJ") formally notifying the Board of Directors of PJBC that AJ has been appointed as the Liquidator of PJBC by an order of the High Court ("Order") made on 20 August 2019 and duly amended on 18 December 2019.
With the appointment of the Liquidator, all powers of the Board of Directors and respective Officers of PJBC had ceased with immediate effect.
