LPI had on 26 February 2020 issued the Notice of AGM for its 59th AGM to be held at Sabah Room, Basement II, Shangri-La Hotel Kuala Lumpur, 11 Jalan Sultan Ismail, 50250 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on Thursday, 26 March 2020 at 11.00 a.m.

The World Health Organisation had on 11 March 2020 declared that the COVID-19 outbreak a pandemic. Subsequent to that, our Prime Minister, YAB Tan Sri Dato’ Haji Muhyiddin bin Haji Mohd. Yassin had on 16 March 2020 announced that a movement control order will be imposed from 18 March 2020 until 31 March 2020 to contain the COVID-19 outbreak.

The health and safety of LPI’s shareholders, staff and other stakeholders who will attend the forthcoming 59th AGM, is the top priority of LPI.

Hence, the Board of Directors (Board) of LPI hereby announced that the forthcoming 59th AGM will be postponed to a later date.

The Board will closely monitor the development of COVID-19 and LPI will send out a new Notice of AGM and make further announcement in due course.
