We refer to the earlier announcement made on 11 March 2020 in relation to the Notice of the 31st  Annual General Meeting ("31st AGM") of the Company for the 31st AGM to be held at Ballroom 1, Sime Darby Convention Centre, 1A Jalan Bukit Kiara 1, 60000 Kuala Lumpur on Thursday, 9 April 2020 at 11.00 a.m.

The World Health Organization has declared that COVID-19 outbreak is characterised as pandemic and in view of the announcement made by the Government of Malaysia (“Government”) on 13 March 2020 where the Government has decided that all public gatherings including any international meetings, sports events and social and religious events will be adjourned or cancelled until 30 April 2020 and subsequent announcement made on 16 March 2020 in relation to the imposition of a 14-day Movement Control Order from 18 March 2020 to 31 March 2020, the Board of Directors of the Company has decided to defer the 31st AGM of the Company, in the interest of the public health.

In view of the above, the Company wishes to inform the shareholders of the Company that the 31st  AGM shall be deferred to a later date which will be announced in due course.
