Bumi Armada Berhad (“BAB” or the “Group”) wishes to announce that its indirect wholly-owned subsidiary, Armada Mahakam Limited (“AML”) was dissolved on 17 March 2020 upon filing of the Certificate of Dissolution with the Registrar of Corporate Affairs of the British Virgin Islands (“BVI”).

AML, a corporation formed under the BVI Business Companies Act, 2004 in the BVI on 3 May 2005, was a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bumi Armada Singapore Holdings Pte Ltd, which in turn is a wholly-owned subsidiary of BAB.

The dissolution of the AML is in line with the Group’s streamlining exercise and is not expected to have any material impact on the earnings or net assets of BAB for the financial year ending 31 December 2020.

None of the Directors or Major Shareholders of BAB or persons connected to them have any interest, direct or indirect, in the dissolution of AML.
