We refer to the earlier announcement made on 27 February 2020 in relation to the Notice of the 15th AGM of the Company scheduled to be held at Ballroom 2, Level LG, Eastin Hotel, 13, Jalan 16/11, Pusat Dagang Seksyen 16, 46350 Petaling Jaya, Selangor Darul Ehsan on Thursday, 9 April 2020 at 10.00 a.m.
The World Health Organisation had on 11 March 2020 declared that the COVID-19 outbreak a pandemic and our Prime Minister, Yang Amat Berhormat Tan Sri Dato’ Haji Muhyiddin bin Haji Mohd Yassin had on 16 March 2020 announced that a Movement Control Order will be imposed effective from 18 March 2020 until 31 March 2020 to contain the COVID-19 outbreak. Subsequent to that, our Prime Minister had further announced that the Movement Control Order shall be extended for a longer period until 14 April 2020.
In view of the extended Movement Control Order, we regret to inform that the Company will not be able to hold its 15th AGM on 9 April 2020 as scheduled. The 15th AGM shall be deferred to a later date to be announced in due course.
