Reference is made to SESB’s announcements dated 20 January 2020, 3 February 2020 and 3 March 2020 (“the Announcements”) and the circular issued by Bursa Securities dated 26 March 2020 in relation to the additional relief measures granted to listed issuers due to outbreak of COVID-19 and implementation of Movement Control Order by the Government of Malaysia (“Bursa Securities’ Circular”). Unless otherwise defined, the terms herein shall bear the same meaning as defined in the Announcements.

The Board of Directors of the Company wishes to announce that the Company is in the midst of formulating a regularisation plan to address its financial condition. The Company will make necessary announcement in regard to any development on the above matter.

Pursuant to Bursa Securities’ Circular, the timeframe for submission of the regularisation plan will be extended from the existing 12 months’ period to 24 months’ period from the date of the First Announcement. In view thereof, the Company has now approximately nineteen (19) months to submit its regularisation plan to Bursa Securities and such other regulator, where applicable, for approval.
