We refer to the announcements issued on 25 February 2019, 6 March 2019, 9 April 2019, 18 April 2019, 3 May 2019, 23 May 2019, 3 June 2019, 21 June 2019, 31 July 2019, 20 August 2019, 8 October 2019, 20 December 2019, 21 January 2020, 17 February 2020, 28 February 2020 and 3 March 2020 in relation to the abovesaid Construction Court Suit and Civil Court Suit (“Announcements”). Unless otherwise stated, the terms used herein shall have the same meanings stated in the Announcements.

The Company wishes to announce the following updates based on the case management held on 31 March 2020 for the Construction Court Suit and court direction for the Civil Court Suit.

Construction Court Suit

On 31 March 2020, both Plaintiff and the 2nd Defendants informed the Court that they have filed and served the Record of Appeal on 17 March 2020. The Court then set a further case management date on 11 June 2020 for Plaintiff to file a Supplemental Record of Appeal with the Notes of Proceeding.

Civil Court Suit

In light of the Movement Control Order (“MCO”), the Court has adjourned the hearing fixed on 6 April 2020 for Rimarisan’s Striking Out application and Dekad Kaliber’s Stay pending appeal application. The Court has now fixed a case management on 15 May 2020 for parties to get directions on the filing of the written submissions for both the applications and to fix new hearing date.

Any further material developments to the abovementioned Construction Court Suit and the Civil Court Suit will be announced as and when these developments materialise.
