In view of the COVID-19 pandemic and the second extension of Movement Control Order (“MCO”) from 15 April until 28 April 2020 implemented throughout the country, Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“Bursa Securities”) had on 16 April 2020 granted an extension of time until 30 June 2020 to listed issuers to issue their quarterly reports which are due by 31 May 2020.

Following the third extension of MCO from 29 April until 12 May 2020, Bursa Securities had on 6 May 2020 announced an additional relief measure by granting an extension of time to listed issuers with financial year ended 31 March 2020 to issue their annual reports that include the annual audited financial statements and the auditors’ and directors’ reports (“AR”) by 31 August 2020, instead of 31 July 2020.

The Board of Directors of GOB wishes to announce that the preparation of its quarterly report for the financial period ended 31 March 2020 (“QR”) and AR are adversely affected by the extended MCO and hence, GOB will utilise the extension of time granted by Bursa Securities for issuance of its QR by 30 June 2020 and AR by 31 August 2020.
