We refer to the announcements dated 23 March 2020 and 30 April 2020 in relation to the Proposed DRP. The terms used herein shall, unless the context otherwise states, have the same meaning as those defined in the previous announcements, where applicable.

On behalf of the Board, UOBKH wishes to announce that Bursa Malaysia Securities has, vide its letter dated 2 June 2020, resolved to approve the listing of and quotation for up to 10,000,000 new ordinary shares to be issued pursuant to the application of the Proposed DRP to the first and final dividend of Manulife of 7.0 sen per ordinary share in respect of the financial year ended 31 December 2019 (“First DRP”) subject to the following conditions:-

1. Manulife and UOBKH must fully comply with the relevant provisions under the Main Market Listing Requirements pertaining to the implementation of the First DRP;
2. Manulife/UOBKH to furnish Bursa Malaysia Securities with a certified true copy of the resolution passed by the shareholders in a general meeting approving the Proposed DRP and issuance of new shares pursuant to the Proposed DRP;
3. Manulife and UOBKH to inform Bursa Malaysia Securities upon completion of the First DRP; and
4. Manulife to furnish Bursa Malaysia Securities with a written confirmation of its compliance with the terms and conditions of Bursa Malaysia Securities’ approval once the First DRP is completed.
