The Board of Directors of M&G wishes to announce that Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“Bursa Securities”) via its letter dated 19 June 2020 notified the Company that Bursa Securities has approved the Company’s application dated 9 June 2020 for extension of one (1) month from 30 June 2020 to 31 July 2020 to announce its Quarterly Report pursuant to Paragraph 9.22(1) of the Main Market Listing Requirements.

The request for time extension was made as additional time is needed for:

• the auditors to complete their fieldwork and reporting in relation to a major subsidiary based in Kemaman, Terengganu, which contributed 72% of the Group’s revenue and 74% of the Group’s total assets. Audit of this subsidiary was affected as the auditors were unable to travel to Kemaman during the period under Movement Control Order and later by the Conditional Movement Control Order, and
• the Group to gauge the impact of the recent decline in demand for oil and gas due to the outbreak of the COVID 19 pandemic to its business operations.
