The Board of Directors of PPB wishes to inform that the following wholly-owned subsidiary companies of Perdana Petroleum Berhad (“PPB”) which have been dormant for a period of time have been placed under dissolution today under the Marshall Islands Business Corporations Act.
The rationale for the dissolution is to save future costs associated with maintaining these subsidiaries as the PPB Group do not foresee any future business plans for these subsidiaries.
The dissolution of the PML and PVL will not have any material effect on the earnings, net assets or gearing of the PPB Group for the financial year ending 31 December 2020.
None of the Directors, major shareholders or person connected to them has any interest, direct or indirect, in the dissolution and this is not subject to PPB’s shareholders’ approval.
