The Board of Directors of AEON wishes to inform that the Managing Director, Encik Shafie bin Shamsuddin ("Encik Shafie") and Deputy Managing Director, Mr Hiroyuki Kotera ("Mr Kotera") had on 7 July 2020 appointed as the Managing Director and Deputy Managing Director of AEON Big (M) Sdn. Bhd. ("AEON Big") respectively.

Subsequent to the appointment of Encik Shafie as Managing Director and Mr Kotera as Deputy Managing Director of AEON and AEON Big, they are deemed as interested directors of the Company, will abstain from all deliberation and voting on the resolution approving all matters pertaining to AEON Big.
