Reference is made to the Company’s announcements on 16 June 2020 and 18 June 2020 (“Announcements”) in relation to the non-compliance with the public shareholding spread requirement. Unless otherwise stated, the abbreviations and definitions used herein shall have the same meanings as those used in the said Announcement.

The Company wishes to announce that Bursa Malaysia has via its letter dated 9 July 2020, which the Company received on even date, granted the Company an extension of time of 6 months until 16 December 2020 to comply with the required public spread of 25% pursuant to paragraph 8.02(1) of the Bursa Malaysia LRs.

As at the date of announcement, the Company public shareholding spread is 23.633% which is 1.367% lower than the required public spread.

The Company will continue to engage with HSCB to dispose of at least the said 1.367% in the Company to the public to enable the Company to comply with the required public spread.
