The Board of Directors of Wegmans wishes to inform that the insurer, had made a payment of RM0.85 million to Wegmans Furniture Industries Sdn. Bhd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Wegmans on 10 July 2020, being the full and final settlement of the Incident claim.
The damages arising from the Incident are approximately RM0.81 million, which had been recognised in the profit or loss for the financial quarter ended 31 March 2020.
