Tan Sri Wan Zulkiflee is the Non-Executive Group Chairman of Malaysia Airlines Berhad and Malaysia Aviation Group Berhad since 1 July 2020.

Before joining Malaysia Airlines Berhad, Tan Sri Wan Zulkiflee served as the President and Group Chief Executive Officer of Petroliam Nasional Berhad (PETRONAS) from April 2015 until June 2020.

Tan Sri Wan Zulkiflee began his career in PETRONAS in 1983 as a Process Engineer involved in the development of several Gas Processing Plants. In the ensuing years, Tan Sri Wan Zulkiflee held various positions within the PETRONAS Group as follows:

o	Served as the Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer of a public listed subsidiary, PETRONAS Gas Berhad from 2003 to 2007.
o	Assumed the position as Vice President of Gas Business of PETRONAS from 2006 to 2010 and was also appointed as Chairman of PETRONAS Gas Berhad from 2008 until 2010.
o	Appointed as Chief Operating Officer of PETRONAS in 2012, in addition to becoming the Executive Vice President & Chief Executive Officer of PETRONAS Downstream Business.
o	Served as the Chairman of PETRONAS Chemicals Group Berhad and PETRONAS Dagangan Berhad.
o	Appointed as Pro-Chancellor of Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS.
o	Other positions held include as General Manager, International Projects Management Division and General Manager, Strategy and Business Development Unit.
